Born of a common desire to link their disciplines in a single dialogue and to question their own artistic practice, the work of Marie Delprat and Olive Lopez reflects on the body, their own body of women artists, what it transmits and translates of their personality, of their femininity. As with any performative approach, the two performers make their bodies the primary tool of the creation and, to another extent, the very tool of an emancipatory aesthetic. For if the work does not claim a political militancy nor an explicitly feminist dimension, it nevertheless leaves an impression of commitment by nuancing and displacing some signs and symbols specific to the making of the female body.
